• Bottles (PET) - Recycle - Remove label, clean and place in appropriate bin on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Bottles (Glass) - Recycle - Clean and place in appropriate bin on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Bottle Caps (Metal) - Non-Burnable - Place in red lettering clear bags with other non- burnables. Bring on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Bottle Caps (Plastic) - Pura - Must be clean. Place in blue lettering clear bag with other 'pura' plastics and bring on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Bulbs (Fluorescent) - Toxic - Do not bag. Place directly in bin on Business Office porch anytime during the season.
• Bulbs (Glass) - Non-Burnable - Wrap in tape (to avoid loose shards). Place in red lettering clear bags with other non-burnables. Bring on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Cans (empty Paint/Varnish/Creosote cans) - Non-Burnable - Place in red lettering clear bags with other non-burnables. Bring on Wednesdays (8~9:30am). Cans not completely empty must be returned to the retailer for proper disposal.
• Cans (Aluminum/Steel) - Recycle - Clean and place in appropriate bin on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Cardboard - Recycle - Package, tie and place in newspaper/cardboard hut at Business Office anytime during the season.
• Food Garbage - Compost or Burnable Garbage - Compost it or put in a 15 or 30 liter green lettering clear bag and bring it on Monday and Friday Mornings (7:00~8:00am). * Note: This is the new Shinanomachi system from 2019.
• Glass (Broken) - Non-Burnable - Wrap in tape (to avoid loose shards). Place in red lettering clear bags with other non-burnables. Bring on Wednesday morning (8-9:30am).
• Jars (Glass) - Recycle - Clean and place in appropriate bin on Wednesday morning (8~9:30am).
• Lids (Metal) - Non-Burnable - Place in red lettering clear bags with other non-burnables. Bring on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Lids (Plastic) - Pura - Must be clean. Place in blue lettering clear bag with other 'pura' plastics and bring on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Magazines Newspaper & Cardboard - Tie and place in newspaper/cardboard hut at Business Office anytime during the season.
• Metal Foiled Plastics (as used for candy wrappers, potato chip & cereal bags) - Non-Burnable - Place in red lettering clear bags with other non-burnables. Bring on Wednesdays (8-9:30am). Not accepted as 'pura' even if marked as such!
• Newspaper Newspaper & Cardboard - Tie and place in newspaper/cardboard hut at Business Office anytime during the season.
• Plastic Wrap - Pura - Must be clean. Place in blue lettering clear bag with other 'pura' plastics and bring on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Pura Marked Plastics (except metal foiled plastics!) - Pura - Must be clean. Place in blue lettering clear bag with other 'pura' plastics and bring on Wednesdays (8~9:30am).
• Styrofoam Trays - Clean and return to the supermarket.
• Thermometers - Toxic - Do not bag. Place directly in bin on Business Office porch anytime during the season.
